Overview

Druids Glen Hotel & Golf Resort in County Wicklow is seeking a Reservations Agent to join their vibrant and accomplished team. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service and efficiently managing reservations to enhance the guest experience and maximize resort revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver prompt and attentive customer support, proactively addressing guest inquiries and concerns.
  • Manage all reservation requests professionally, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of department offerings and overall resort amenities.
  • Optimize revenue through effective management of occupancy rates and pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate with the reception team to resolve guest billing questions.
  • Handle daily processing of no-shows, ensuring proper recording of forfeited revenues.
  • Prepare and distribute daily pickup reports to relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Events departments to maximize overall resort income.
  • Organize and maintain reservations documentation systematically, distributing copies to pertinent departments.
  • Keep all departments informed about current promotions and special resort activities.
  • Maximize revenues from transient room bookings, golf tee times, food and beverage, and spa/leisure services by responding enthusiastically and efficiently to individual reservation inquiries.
  • Support revenue functions administratively to ensure excellent yield management and online sales visibility.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Experience in a similar reservations role within a 4-5 star hotel is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong organizational and administrative abilities with attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Proficient with general office computer applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Working knowledge of Hotsoft or comparable Property Management Systems is beneficial.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends, is essential.
