About the Tamayyaz Program
The Tamayyaz Program is a national development initiative designed to help Saudi nationals build essential competencies and knowledge across various hospitality roles, blending structured learning with practical job experience. As a Reservation Agent, participants receive guidance and training to perform at a high standard within the hotel.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional service when attending to guest reservations by phone in a pleasant and courteous manner.
- Accurately collect and record reservation details, including booking codes for both group and individual stays.
- Notify relevant departments regarding VIP guests' arrivals and ensure all special accommodation requests are organized in advance.
- Identify commissionable bookings and compile required documentation.
- Handle reservation deposits and special billing details, including seeking credit approvals when necessary.
- Maintain organized records of all reservations for fast and easy retrieval.
- Assist in managing room inventory to optimize occupancy rates and support revenue growth using yield management techniques, including up-selling.
- Prepare and contribute to room forecasts and lists of important guests.
- Facilitate clear communication of guest history to personalize services and promote hotel amenities to guests for improved satisfaction and revenue.
- Manage incoming reservation communications—calls, faxes, and messages—in a prompt and accurate fashion.
- Observe all relevant hotel guidelines, policies, and legal regulations.
- Uphold high standards of guest privacy and confidentiality and strictly follow safety, security, and emergency protocols.
- Participate in required meetings and training sessions as directed by the Space Controller, and support team members as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area, adhering to all appearance and hygiene standards.
- Remain knowledgeable of hotel facilities, local attractions, and payment and credit procedures.

- Basic proficiency in English is required.
