Role Responsibilities
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene to the highest standard, including deep cleaning equipment, floors, walls, and coolers in line with health regulations
- Handle, count, and sort kitchen equipment safely, ensuring proper chemical use and storage as per manufacturers’ guidelines
- Hygienically clean and safely store all crockery, cutlery, and glassware following set cleaning schedules and protocols
- Prepare and present dishes maintaining correct temperatures and delivering timely service tailored to guest needs and varying service demands
- Properly collect and dispose of dry and wet waste each shift using safe and hygienic methods
- Manage stock rotation effectively and implement stock control, while communicating menu availability and service changes with restaurant staff
- Adhere to department procedures, maintain confidentiality regarding hotel and guest information, and undertake additional duties requested by supervisors or management
