About the Role
The Meta Monetization GenAI team is dedicated to pioneering AI-driven content creation specifically designed for advertising. In recent years, generative AI has evolved rapidly, especially in large language models and image generation technologies. This team’s mission is to push forward the frontier of applied generative AI and develop innovative products that empower businesses to enhance productivity and efficiency, with a special focus on generating and editing image and video ads.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out applied research to drive advancements in image, video, and text generation technologies aimed at ad creative creation and modification.
- Set long-term research objectives and identify achievable intermediate goals.
- Play an active role in transitioning generative AI technologies from research into practical, production-ready solutions within ad domains.
- Contribute to the wider AI research community via publications and collaborative efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Possession or near completion of a PhD in computer vision or machine learning, along with at least one first-author or co-author publication at top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, CVPR, ICML, ICLR, ICCV, or ECCV).
- Hands-on experience in generative AI research, including work conducted during PhD studies.
- Demonstrated history of collaborating within teams of applied research scientists and engineers addressing practical machine learning challenges with a focus on AI research.
- Proficiency in developing and debugging code using Python.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing real-world applications leveraging multimodal large language models.
- Expertise in diffusion models for image, video, text, or multimodal generation, evidenced by publications in leading conferences.
