Overview
Our client is an established consultancy specializing in market and social research, providing qualitative and quantitative insights to a variety of sectors including government and corporate clients.
Role Summary
We are seeking a mid-level researcher to join an active insights team. The role involves a combination of qualitative and quantitative research tasks, with an emphasis on moderating focus groups. The workload includes public sector projects alongside corporate and occasional category work, with a robust project pipeline ahead.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead moderation of focus groups and in-depth interviews at various locations, entailing some travel.
- Conduct online qualitative sessions using video conferencing platforms.
- Participate in a blend of qualitative and quantitative research assignments.
- Engage with a diverse client portfolio covering public sector, corporate, and ad-hoc projects.
- Collaborate closely with senior researchers and support personnel on projects spanning multiple sites.
- Handle quantitative research tasks when capacity permits, even if qualitative research is the primary expertise.
Candidate Profile
- At least three years of experience in market research.
- Proven expertise in moderating focus groups, with in-depth interview experience also advantageous.
- Ability to manage a balanced mix of qualitative and quantitative research work.
- Experience with government sector research is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication abilities and client interaction skills.
