Remote Paraplanner

Overview

Eden Rose, a growing financial planning enterprise based in Birmingham, is recruiting a seasoned Paraplanner to join their fully remote team. The role involves offering superior technical assistance, conducting research, creating suitability reports, and crafting client recommendations to aid financial advisers in delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Develop thorough suitability reports covering pensions, investments, protection policies, and retirement strategies.
• Perform detailed technical research and analysis to back financial planning proposals.
• Assess and review clients' existing financial arrangements for suitability.
• Collaborate with Financial Planners, administrative staff, and providers to gather information and efficiently progress client cases.
• Ensure all client recommendations comply with relevant regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Assist advisers with technically complex cases and respond to detailed queries.
• Maintain precise and organized client records and documentation.

Candidate Profile

• Possession of a Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (Level 4) is preferred.
• Previous paraplanning experience in an independent financial advice or wealth management setting is essential.
• Strong expertise in pensions, investments, tax planning, and protection products.
• Proven ability to independently prepare suitability reports and conduct thorough research.
• High attention to detail accompanied by excellent report-writing capabilities.
• Comfortable with remote work while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
• Experience in a centralised or pooled paraplanning set-up is an advantage.
