Job description

Position Overview

This opening is for a Permanent Full Time or Fixed Term Full Time role until 31 December 2026, with potential for extension or permanent placement. The Remote Community Support Worker EK is responsible for facilitating remote aged care service delivery by collaborating closely with community members, remote care personnel, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure client needs align with KACS guidelines.

  • Cross-cultural competence with demonstrated respect and effectiveness working with Aboriginal populations and remote Kimberley communities, acknowledging local cultural protocols and priorities.
  • Ability to collaborate positively in multidisciplinary settings, exercise initiative, sound judgment, and operate independently with minimal oversight.
  • Readiness and capacity to undertake frequent travel, including overnight stays in remote Kimberley locations, and work proficiently in isolated geographic areas.
