Job description
Position Overview
We are searching for a reliable Service Driver to join our dedicated team based at the Athlone branch, servicing the Galway region. This role involves driving to various customer locations to maintain washroom hygiene products such as feminine hygiene units, nappy bins, air fresheners, soap dispensers, and floor mats. The ideal candidate should enjoy driving, managing their schedule, and delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive safely and responsibly, maintaining vehicle security at all times, following company driving guidelines.
- Load and unload hygiene units and floor mats at customer premises, requiring physical fitness.
- Provide outstanding customer service and maintain a professional demeanor representing the company positively.
Requirements
- Holder of a full UK driving license for over two years with six or fewer penalty points.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service.
- Flexible approach to working hours to meet business demands.
- Self-motivated with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Pride in delivering quality work.
- Potential necessity to pass a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check depending on role specifics.
Compensation and Benefits
- Starting basic salary at €29,350 per annum plus a €1,500 allowance, with an expected OTE of €32,500 including bonus and commission schemes.
- Benefit package includes a company vehicle, fuel card, mobile phone, uniform, and participation in RI Rewards.
- Relocation assistance up to £5,000 for candidates moving over two hours away.
- Work schedule of Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours weekly with possibilities of extending to 48 hours, accompanied by increased salary.
