About the Role

Policybazaar, a leading insurance brokerage firm, is seeking a dedicated Relationship Manager based in Madurai. The role involves managing field sales within the insurance sector, focusing on client acquisition and retention.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed sales targets measured by Annualized Premium (ANP) and case volume.
• Identify and generate new leads from the natural market, customer referrals, and the existing orphan client base.
• Conduct regular client meetings to assess needs and propose suitable insurance products.
• Apply a structured, need-based selling approach to ensure clients receive appropriate solutions.
• Upsell and cross-sell to maximize revenue from the current customer portfolio.
• Provide post-sale support to address customer queries and ensure timely policy issuance.
• Maintain strong customer engagement through consistent communication and relationship management.
• Collaborate with supervisors to strategize and implement business plans effectively.
• Contribute to sales forecasting by designing and assessing innovative sales initiatives.
• Manage and expand a customer database within the assigned territory.
• Adhere to Information Security Management System (ISMS) protocols to safeguard company and customer data.

Candidate Requirements

• Must possess a personal bike and hold a valid driving license.
• Fluency in the regional language is essential.
• At least one year of relevant experience in banking or insurance sales.
• Strong communication and networking capabilities.
• Male candidates only.
• Availability to join immediately is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary ranging from INR 325,000 to INR 425,000 per annum.
