Role Overview
We are seeking a Reinstatement Technician to join our backfill and reinstatement team within the Network Operations department. This position focuses on maintenance, replacement, and backfill duties related to our underground water infrastructure in the Wrexham and Powys regions.
Key Duties
- Perform diverse reinstatement responsibilities on the water distribution network as directed by the Planning Team based in Wrexham.
- Maintain personal health and safety standards while caring for the wellbeing of colleagues, stakeholders, and the public.
- Assess and manage risks associated with work activities, ensuring all operations comply with legal, regulatory, and company policies.
- Support waste transfer, backfill, and reinstatement operations as part of the repair and maintenance service to deliver effective outcomes.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in reinstatement work, particularly on public roads and private sites.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a reinstatement team environment.
- Strong commitment and practical knowledge of daily workplace Health & Safety practices.
- Capability to perform physically demanding outdoor work under varying weather conditions.
- Possession of a valid UK driving licence (Category C1 preferred) and willingness to drive as required.
- NRSWA accreditation is advantageous.
- Positive attitude, strong character, and a caring approach to work and community engagement.
