Role Overview
This is a permanent full-time nursing role offering at least 32 hours per week including shifts in the morning, afternoon, night, and weekends. The position is based onsite at St Joseph's Lifecare in Upper Hutt.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of caregivers to deliver exceptional resident care.
- Develop and regularly update individualised care plans for residents.
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments.
- Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with residents, their families, and general practitioners.
- Provide support to Clinical Services and Care Home Managers.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) as a Registered Nurse.
- Previous Registered Nurse experience in New Zealand or abroad.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving capabilities.
- A sincere and positive commitment to helping others.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team with empathy and dedication.
- Understanding and commitment to health and safety standards with an enthusiasm for ongoing professional development.
