About the Role
Located in Petone, Wellington, this position offers a hybrid work environment combining onsite and remote work opportunities. Join a friendly and approachable team supporting over 100 adults and children with disabilities across Wellington, Northland, and parts of South Auckland. This growing organization is seeking a dynamic and engaged Recruitment Coordinator to help attract and retain exceptional staff members.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment using the SnapHire applicant tracking system, including advertising job openings, shortlisting candidates, coordinating interviews, conducting police vetting, extending offers, and facilitating inductions.
- Develop the capabilities of hiring managers to ensure compliance with policies and legal standards while improving their recruitment skills.
- Prepare employment contracts and assist with onboarding activities as needed.
- Maintain vacancy and applicant databases efficiently.
- Utilize social media channels and organize promotional and marketing events to attract quality candidates.
- Contribute to the creation and enhancement of recruitment policies, procedures, and workforce strategies.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking someone who is highly organized, self-driven, and proactive. Familiarity with recruitment processes is valuable but not essential, as training on systems will be provided. The ideal candidate will spend time engaging with the people we support and current staff to understand the qualities needed in new hires. They should be confident in representing the organization in various outreach platforms such as schools, universities, and job fairs. Innovative ideas beyond traditional recruitment techniques are highly encouraged.
