About the Role
Join Drake International's Sydney team as a Recruitment Consultant specializing in the construction sector. In this permanent recruitment position, you will lead the end-to-end recruitment cycle, developing strong relationships with clients and sourcing talented candidates to successfully fill roles in your designated vertical or region. You will be viewed as a trusted advisor by clients and candidates alike, contributing to business growth and team success.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business opportunities and job orders within your sector.
- Establish and nurture long-term client partnerships.
- Source, assess, and manage high-caliber candidates for roles.
- Effectively present top candidates to match clients' requirements.
- Oversee the recruitment process from initial engagement through to placement.
- Expand your professional network and deepen your market knowledge in the construction vertical.
- Collaborate with colleagues and help uphold a high-performance team culture.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of one year’s B2B sales experience or three years in B2C sales.
- Recruitment background is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
- A strong results-oriented approach with urgency towards achieving goals.
- A commercial mindset with enthusiasm for business development.
- Passion for recruitment and supporting people's career progression.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with ambition to develop and expand your own client portfolio.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive base salary ranging from $55,000 to $75,000 AUD per year based on experience.
- Attractive commission structure in addition to base pay.
