About the Role

MacGregor Black is seeking motivated and passionate individuals to join our dynamic teams based in Newcastle and Leeds. While direct recruitment experience is not mandatory, a strong drive, passion for success, integrity, and a commercial background in business-to-business or business-to-consumer channels are highly valued. Candidates will build and strengthen client relationships in the Consumer, Food, Drink & Retail sectors, becoming industry specialists.

We serve a range of clients including global multinationals and entrepreneurial SMEs, recruiting across management and executive levels in sales, marketing, HR, digital and ecommerce, technology, procurement, supply chain, finance, and operations functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities with a focus on B2B or B2C channels.
• Manage client information and communications effectively using CRM systems.
• Maintain database accuracy and integrity.
• Deliver exceptional listening, communication, and customer service to clients and candidates.
• Organize time effectively and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced recruitment environment.
• Negotiate confidently with external stakeholders and key decision makers.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in business development, ideally within B2B or B2C sectors.
• Proficient use of CRM tools and database management.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
• Goal-oriented and highly motivated to succeed.
• Degree holder or possessing an equivalent qualification.
• Ability to negotiate effectively with external parties.
