Join HEAT GmbH, a consultancy dedicated to fostering a climate-neutral future, based in Königstein im Taunus near Frankfurt. With over 30 years of experience, HEAT supports governments, development banks, and international organizations worldwide across climate protection, sustainable heating and cooling, and sustainable mobility sectors. Our work contributes directly to achieving the Paris Agreement and United Nations Sustainable Development Goals through multidisciplinary international teamwork.
Role Purpose
As a Recruiter within our Acquisition & Expert Recruiting Unit, you will be instrumental in sourcing and retaining the right specialists essential to our project success. This role can be full-time or part-time (30–40 hours per week) and must start immediately or by 1 October 2026 at the latest.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for international tenders and projects, from active sourcing, screening, preliminary interviews, to coordinating with specialized departments.
- Serve as the direct liaison between HEAT and external experts, nurturing relationships from initial contact through contract negotiations.
- Build and maintain a global network of professionals, sustaining ongoing communication with experts involved in current projects.
- Maintain and enhance our expert database, formatting CVs according to requirements set by clients such as GIZ, EU, UNDP, and development banks.
- Support acquisition activities using internal systems and AI-enhanced methods.
- Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team composed of engineers, economists, and climate policy specialists.
Qualifications and Experience
- University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; alternatively, a completed commercial training (e.g., personnel service clerk or office management) coupled with relevant professional experience.
- At least 2 to 3 years of pertinent experience in a service- or client-oriented environment demonstrating independent and detail-focused work; career changers with transferable skills are encouraged.
- Proficient use of social media and professional networking platforms such as LinkedIn and XING for candidate sourcing, along with strong communication and networking skills.
- Fluent in both written and spoken German and English.
- Competent with standard MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Comfortable working with digital tools and AI-supported applications, with a willingness to refine our processes (prior experience welcomed but not mandatory).
- Experience handling databases and applying a meticulous and organized approach.
- Previous involvement in international recruitment or development cooperation is advantageous, as is familiarity with proposal writing and additional languages such as French or Spanish.
What We Offer
- A varied and engaging role within a committed, cross-disciplinary team.
- Autonomy with flat hierarchies and rapid decision-making.
- Comprehensive onboarding and an environment where questions are encouraged.
- A respectful, supportive, and open team culture.
- A peaceful office located in a prime spot within the Königsteiner Gärten.
- Up to two days of remote work weekly by arrangement with team leadership for an optimal work-life balance.
- A subsidy for the Germany public transit ticket promoting eco-friendly commuting.
- Opportunity to lease a bicycle or e-bike via the "Jobrad" program.
