About the Role

Chandigarh University, located in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh, is looking for a proactive and goal-driven Recruiter to handle talent acquisition processes for both academic and non-academic positions, supporting the university's growth by securing capable personnel.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct full-cycle recruitment for academic and non-academic job openings.
• Identify and source potential candidates using various channels including job portals, social media, networks, referrals, and talent databases.
• Evaluate applications and perform initial candidate screenings.
• Organize interviews in partnership with hiring managers, Deans, Directors, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure recruitment processes conclude efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
• Develop and sustain candidate pools to meet ongoing and future staffing demands.
• Maintain effective and positive communication with candidates throughout the recruitment journey.
• Assist in recruitment drives, campus hiring events, job fairs, and initiatives aimed at employer branding.
• Prepare and deliver recruitment management information system reports, dashboards, and analyze hiring data.
• Adhere to recruitment policies and proper documentation procedures.

Eligibility and Experience

• Possess an MBA or PGDM with a specialization in Human Resources or related areas.
• Have between 2 to 6 years of professional experience in recruitment.
• Prior experience in academic recruitment or recruitment within higher education institutions is mandatory.
• Strong skills in sourcing, interviewing, and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent communication skills combined with the ability to foster strong professional relationships.
