Job Summary

The Recovery Clerk role involves delivering prompt, courteous service and assistance to members, ensuring merchandise is replenished and stocked, and maintaining a clean, neat, and organized sales floor.

Club Standards

• Work collaboratively to maintain daily GOLD club standards.
• Strive to present a Grand Opening Look daily, with all merchandise stocked and promotional plans executed.
• Ensure accurate, visible signage and maintain cleanliness inside and outside the club.

Business Acumen

• Learn to access and interpret production and financial performance reports for your department.
• Understand the correlation between consistent execution and positive business outcomes.

Major Duties

• Offer members prompt and courteous service and assistance.
• Replenish, refill, stock, and straighten merchandise with correct signage.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and fully stocked sales floor.
• Restock milk, dairy, freezer, food, non-food merchandise; fold and organize apparel and books.
• Remove empty cardboard, replenish bins, and operate the cardboard baler for disposal.
• Return all returned and re-shopped items to the sales floor.
• Adhere to all club policies and procedures.
• Perform assignments in various departments as needed.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance as an essential function of the position.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of required training and certifications.
• Strong interpersonal abilities and attention to detail.

Working Conditions

• Continuous movement on hard surfaces including frequent bending, climbing, crawling, pulling, reaching, stooping, and ladder use.
• Regularly lift items up to 50 pounds; may move heavier or awkward objects over 50 pounds with assistance.
• Use of pallet jacks to move pallets is required.
• Frequent exposure to authorized cleaning agents.
• Work occurs in indoor and outdoor areas with occasional exposure to extreme temperatures in freezers and coolers.

Compensation

The estimated compensation range for this position is $16.25 to $19.50 per hour. Actual pay will depend on location, education, experience, and qualifications in compliance with Pay Transparency standards.
