Receiving Clerk

Position Overview

The Receiving Clerk role at Autograph Collection in Doha, Qatar, involves verifying financial entries for accuracy and proper coding, organizing and safeguarding records and cash following company procedures, and managing computerized financial data efficiently. This position requires maintaining up-to-date electronic spreadsheets for various financial aspects, classifying and summarizing numerical data through journals and ledgers, and preparing comprehensive reports related to finance, accounting, auditing, and payroll. Additionally, this role is responsible for completing closing procedures, reconciling invoices and bills, and ensuring all processes adhere to set standards.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with company policies; maintain a professional appearance and confidentiality; protect company assets; address guest service needs professionally; communicate clearly in person, via phone and emails; and perform light physical tasks involving objects up to 10 pounds. Relationship building and teamwork are essential to accomplish common goals. The position also includes miscellaneous duties assigned by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum education requirement: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least one year of related professional experience is needed.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No licensing or certification necessary.
