About the Role
Our client is expanding its engineering team in Belfast following a recent $400 million funding round valuing the business at $3.8 billion. As a React and TypeScript Developer, you will be part of a fast-growing company with clients including NASA, focused on building advanced cloud security solutions. The position is hybrid with 3 days in the Belfast city centre office.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain robust frontend applications leveraging React and TypeScript technologies.
- Coordinate with backend engineers to define API contracts ensuring smooth integration.
- Promote a strong focus on user experience and maintain design excellence throughout development.
- Take full ownership of frontend modules from initial design through deployment.
- Conduct peer design and code reviews to enhance code quality and team standards.
- Refine frontend components to improve performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Partner with product management to implement features driven by user feedback.
Technical Environment
- Frontend: React, TypeScript, WebGL
- Backend interactions: API schema definition, microservice collaboration
- Cloud platforms utilized: AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure
- Development tooling: Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Minimum three years experience working with React and TypeScript in frontend development.
- Solid understanding of modern frontend architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Proficient in designing APIs and integrating frontend with backend services.
- Experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
