Role Overview
HK Study Hub is seeking a skilled React Developer to craft, implement, test, and support contemporary, responsive web applications. This role emphasizes converting product and technical needs into superior user interfaces utilizing React and allied technologies. Responsibilities include creating reusable UI components, integrating with APIs and backend services, managing application state, improving performance, and ensuring uniform functionality across browsers and devices. Collaboration with product managers, designers, backend developers, and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React technologies.
- Create reusable UI components and manage application state effectively.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and back-end services seamlessly.
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and adherence to accessibility standards.
- Conduct debugging, code reviews, and automated testing to maintain code quality.
- Maintain technical documentation and continuously enhance usability and maintainability.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related disciplines.
- Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Strong knowledge of React, including React Hooks, component-based architecture, state management, and latest front-end development best practices.
- Experience with React ecosystem tools such as Next.js, Redux, React Router, or similar frameworks.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and JSON for front-end/back-end integration.
- Competence with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with Git version control, debugging tools, testing methodologies, and code review processes.
- Experience or understanding of unit testing and end-to-end testing frameworks is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of UI/UX principles and ability to collaborate with design teams effectively.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to code quality and detail.
- Capability to write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work within cross-functional teams.
- Proactive learning attitude and commitment to ongoing improvement of development practices.
