Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Frontend Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing front-end applications and platform features that enable user growth initiatives. This role focuses on creating scalable, user-friendly, and reliable front-end services that support business innovation and swift product iteration.

• Collaborate with product managers, backend, and data engineers to design, develop, and maintain the user growth platform's front-end components.
• Create highly performant and scalable technical architectures aligned with the product roadmap, implementing these as frameworks or libraries.
• Develop essential features, optimize application performance, and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Ensure the platform adheres to security, performance, and reliability standards.
• Work closely with product and data engineering teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Keep abreast of the latest web technologies and trends, informing engineers and product managers about new product opportunities enabled by these advances.
• Utilize full-stack web technologies including Node.js, React or Vue, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS to build MVPs and run experiments for idea validation and refinement, adopting new tools and technologies as fitting.
• Identify and apply AI technologies and AI-assisted development tools to enhance products and workflows.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in frontend engineering.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, including a solid understanding of browser operations and capability to develop independently without relying solely on frontend libraries.
• Expertise in mainstream frontend frameworks and libraries such as React and Vue, with knowledge of their design principles and appropriate use cases.
• Familiarity with frontend engineering practices and modularized development approaches.
• Experience with various debugging and testing tools for frontend development along with strong independent problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of frontend-backend integration modes, solid abstract thinking ability, and foundational knowledge in algorithms and data structures.
• Passion for learning, strong enthusiasm for technology, and keen technical awareness.
• Interest in leveraging AI for practical applications in product development and engineering workflows.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities, strong accountability, and a positive, proactive attitude.
• Experience in developing and maintaining large-scale applications is advantageous.
