Role Summary
This full-time Storeperson role is based at the Marley site in Manurewa, Auckland. It involves overseeing inbound goods and dispatch operations while ensuring smooth daily site activities. This hands-on position emphasizes efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement to maintain high-quality standards and safety for all employees.
Working Hours and Conditions
The position follows a rotating shift system Monday through Friday, with morning shifts from 7:00am to 3:00pm and afternoon shifts from 3:00pm to 11:00pm. Uniforms are supplied, and overtime opportunities exist for additional hours.
Key Duties
- Managing goods receipt, verifying deliveries, and ensuring MPI compliance.
- Promoting a strong health and safety culture by maintaining safe and organized work areas and proper stock storage.
- Supporting picking operations, replenishments, and maintaining accurate inventory through daily stock counts.
- Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in both warehouse and yard environments.
- Efficiently processing customer orders with precision.
- Identifying health and safety hazards and collaborating to foster a safe workspace.
- Safeguarding storage and stock, managing materials, and supporting production line supplies.
- Performing general warehouse and yard duties as required to support site functions.
- Completing various ad hoc tasks to support overall site operations.
Candidate Profile
- 2 to 5 years of experience in similar warehouse or storeperson roles; experience with RF scanning is beneficial.
- Background in warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or production settings.
- Physically equipped and capable of meeting daily operational deadlines.
- Strong dedication to workplace health and safety standards.
- High attention to detail, especially concerning inventory and customer order accuracy.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate well within a team.
- Proactive, reliable, punctual, with a strong work ethic, positive mindset, and eagerness to learn.
- Possession of a current forklift license is mandatory.
