Role Overview
The Quantity Surveyor will oversee measurement, valuation, and financial control specifically for roadworks projects. This role entails evaluating contractor submissions, aiding in managing contract administration, and assisting in the assessment of project variations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the measurement, valuation processes, and cost management of road construction activities.
- Critically assess contractor claims and proposed changes in the project scope.
- Provide support for effective contract administration to ensure compliance and project alignment.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Certified Quantity Surveyor professional qualification.
- Between four to seven years of relevant industry experience.
- Demonstrated experience within road network projects.
Core Competencies
- Technical skills including proficiency in Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost control techniques, and contract management.
- Behavioral qualities such as strong analytical reasoning and negotiation abilities.
