About the Company
This is an established contractor with over four decades of expertise specializing in fire protection and life safety services throughout Ireland. Their operations span commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, data centres, and manufacturing sectors, providing full design, installation, and maintenance for critical fire protection systems.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to strengthen the commercial team amid ongoing growth and a strong order book. This permanent, full-time role based in Dublin involves supporting the commercial management of sprinkler and fire protection projects from contract award through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee project budgets and commercial performance for multiple projects concurrently.
- Prepare valuations, variations, and payment applications accurately.
- Assist with subcontractor procurement and account oversight.
- Monitor cost forecasts and project budgets to ensure financial targets.
- Identify potential commercial risks and opportunities throughout project delivery.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure project success.
- Support contract administration activities and manage final accounts.
- Generate regular commercial performance reports for senior management.
Candidate Profile
- Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor, Assistant Quantity Surveyor, or Intermediate Quantity Surveyor.
- Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field.
- Background in construction, mechanical and electrical services (M&E), building services, or specialist contracting is preferred.
- Strong grasp of contract administration and commercial project management.
- Excellent numerical skills combined with analytical capabilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Motivated to advance career in a dynamic, expanding company.
