Job description
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor (QS) Engineer to join our engineering team, focusing on fit-out and construction projects based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare comprehensive quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) utilizing project drawings, specifications, and site requirements.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and scope to ensure precise quantity estimations.
- Compile and verify quantities for client invoicing and payment applications.
- Collaborate with project and site teams to confirm quantities related to completed work.
- Document measurements and related paperwork required for client billing processes.
- Review Bills of Quantities to detect discrepancies, omissions, and scope changes.
- Monitor and record variations and additional tasks for billing purposes.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records including measurement sheets and invoice documentation.
- Coordinate invoicing efforts with clients and project teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated experience as a Quantity Surveyor or QS Engineer.
- Prior involvement in fit-out projects is mandatory.
- Strong expertise in quantity take-offs, measurements, BOQ preparation, and client billing.
- Solid understanding of construction drawings and technical specifications.
- Experience collaborating with client and project teams in Saudi Arabia is advantageous.
