Role Overview

This is a full-time on-site position based in Dubai, requiring commitment six days a week. The Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in managing post-contract cost control in villa and townhouse developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and verify interim payment requests and prepare corresponding payment certificates.
• Measure and quantify variations and change requests accurately.
• Support Senior Quantity Surveyors with assessing cost variances and managing the change control process after contract award.
• Develop rate analyses for variations and changes.
• Assist in assembling monthly commercial reports prepared by Engineers.
• Manage provisional and prime cost sums administration.
• Evaluate final payment applications and draft final payment certificates.
• Handle administration of cost claims.
• Prepare cost estimates related to change requests.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of eight years' experience in quantity surveying.
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent qualification.
• Consultancy experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated post-contract experience specifically in villa and townhouse development projects is essential.
