Job Location and Work Pattern

This role is based in Dublin or Northern Ireland with a hybrid schedule comprising 2 days working remotely, 2 days in the office, and 1 day onsite.

About the Role

A growing commercial construction team is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to contribute to diverse construction projects while benefiting from flexible hybrid working and strong prospects for career advancement.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop cost plans, estimates, and project budgets.
• Oversee tendering, procurement processes, and subcontractor package management.
• Track project costs, valuations, and financial reporting accurately.
• Administer contracts ensuring compliance with commercial terms.
• Manage project variations and engage in cost negotiations with clients and contractors.
• Prepare interim valuations and final accounts for projects.
• Collaborate continuously with clients, subcontractors, and project teams throughout project lifecycles.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Prior professional experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Strong commercial insight along with financial management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation proficiency.
• Competence in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with industry software such as CostX or Bluebeam.
• Having a full driving license is advantageous.
