Job description
About the Role
Our parent company, KGA Group, is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to strengthen our team at the Head Office in Kochi. This role involves comprehensive cost management throughout construction projects, including preparation of BOQs, estimates, tender and contract documents.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Bills of Quantities (BOQs), detailed estimates, tender submissions, and contract documentation.
- Conduct cost planning and budgeting alongside thorough analysis of material and labor expenses.
- Prepare and assess interim valuations, payment recommendations, and finalize accounts.
- Address variations, claims, valuations, and contractual issues related to projects.
- Monitor project expenditures carefully to maintain budget compliance.
- Produce detailed cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and financial analyses.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Support tendering processes, procurement strategies, and contract negotiations.
- Evaluate and manage subcontractor work, payment processes, and scheduling.
- Offer expert guidance on commercial, contractual, and financial matters throughout project lifecycles.
