Role Overview

A respected specialist contractor in Europe's expanding data centre segment is looking to hire a Junior to Intermediate Quantity Surveyor for their Frankfurt office. The role focuses on major power infrastructure and substation packages, serving top global technology and data centre clients, with broad opportunities across Germany and Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in commercial management of significant substation and power infrastructure projects.
  • Handle subcontract administration, including valuations and contract variations.
  • Prepare and update cost reports and commercial documentation accurately.
  • Support procurement tasks and maintain subcontractor relationships.
  • Manage change control and contractual paperwork effectively.
  • Monitor project budgets to identify commercial risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with project delivery teams to ensure project success.
  • Develop strong professional relationships with clients, consultants, and partners.
  • Ensure adherence to company procedures and contractual commitments.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Assistant Quantity Surveyor, or Graduate Quantity Surveyor.
  • Background in contracting, specialist subcontracting, engineering, or consultancy.
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related field.
  • Strong commercial understanding and eagerness to learn and grow.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proactive attitude with ambition for professional development.

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with construction, infrastructure, MEP, power and utilities, renewable energy, industrial, or engineering projects is advantageous but not essential.

Location and Language

Applicants ideally reside in Germany. German nationals are preferred, though European candidates are also considered. Proficiency in German language is highly valued for non-German applicants.
