Job Overview
We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our team at LC&T Builder (1971) Pte Ltd located in Singapore. This full-time role supports contract management and project coordination activities throughout construction projects, ensuring precise tendering, negotiation, cost control, and contract administration under senior leadership guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in contract management and coordinate project activities to guarantee accurate tender preparations, negotiations, and cost controls.
- Prepare and oversee tender submissions, quotations, cost estimates, and comparisons to aid project bidding and execution.
- Prepare and submit main contract progress claims and Variation Orders (VOs) along with the necessary supporting documentation and cost justifications.
- Evaluate and process subcontractor and supplier progress claims and VOs, including verifying quantities and ensuring compliance with contractual entitlements.
- Collaborate closely with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients addressing commercial and contractual matters.
- Provide support to senior contract management in resolving contractual, commercial, and cost-related issues.
- Maintain organized contract records, cost reports, claim documentation, and all supporting paperwork.
- Work independently managing specific responsibilities and ensure timely submissions that meet contract deadlines.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses 2 to 3 years of relevant Quantity Surveying or Contracts experience within the Singapore construction sector.
- Experience with HDB building projects is preferable.
- Well-versed in tender processes, progress claims, Variation Orders, subcontractor/supplier claims, and contract administration.
- Capable of working with minimal supervision, balancing multiple assignments and deadlines efficiently.
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel and other relevant quantity surveying or contract administration software.
