The Role

We are seeking a Junior Quantitative Developer to join the Book Platform and Operations Team. This entry-level position is suited for candidates with solid technical skills who enjoy addressing practical challenges and making meaningful business contributions. You will cooperate with experienced developers and portfolio managers to develop systems, interfaces, and tools that streamline daily portfolio management activities. The role values clear reasoning, strong foundational skills, and a proactive mindset more than extensive experience.

Key Duties

• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining systems and tools that support portfolio management processes.
• Partner with portfolio managers and fellow developers to understand needs and implement effective solutions.
• Investigate and fix issues arising in existing tools and infrastructure.
• Monitor production environments, promptly handle incidents, and maintain system reliability.
• Participate in peer code reviews, software testing, and documentation efforts.
• Enhance team efficiency by adopting current development tools and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience programming in Python and/or C++.
• Proficient with Bash scripting and working within Linux operating systems.
• Familiar with version control tools such as Git.
