Job Description
Joining the EMEA Development team based in London, you will serve as a Quantitative Developer tasked with enhancing the current research framework. Your role involves building new tools and refining existing ones while offering close support to the quantitative research team on-site to aid their daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement a low-latency, high-frequency trading platform.
- Contribute to the development of a tick-by-tick backtesting research platform.
- Develop and optimize computations involving large-scale parallel processing with extensive shared data.
- Improve machine learning algorithm efficiency to achieve superior performance and accelerated learning.
- Create systems, interfaces, and tools to handle historical market data and facilitate trading simulations, boosting research productivity.
- Design analytical tools to interpret data and support research-driven decision making.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines at Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD level, or comparable practical experience.
- Strong expertise in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming using C++.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and analytical mindset.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication capabilities.
- Experience with Python and/or financial markets knowledge is advantageous but not mandatory.
