About the Role
Join a rapidly expanding digital assets trading platform as a Quant Engineer tasked with creating advanced quantitative tools and trading technologies. This role involves developing critical systems for pricing, execution, and managing risk within the digital asset markets.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain quantitative models and software that underpin pricing and trading operations across digital asset markets.
- Collaborate closely with researchers, traders, and engineering teams to convert quantitative theories into dependable production-grade systems.
- Create analytical tools to examine market data, measure trading performance, and uncover opportunities for enhancement.
- Implement backtesting and simulation frameworks to evaluate models and trading strategies across varying market environments.
- Continuously monitor and refine the accuracy, speed, and reliability of pricing and execution infrastructure.
- Assist in risk surveillance and diagnose issues impacting model effectiveness and trading activities.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Possess a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or an allied quantitative field.
- Demonstrate strong programming expertise coupled with experience in producing reliable and maintainable software.
- Exhibit robust analytical and problem-solving skills grounded in a solid grasp of probability and statistics.
- Experience in quantitative development, trading systems, or financial technology is preferred.
- Knowledge or exposure to digital assets, financial derivatives, or market microstructure is advantageous.
- Proven ability to work effectively with both technical staff and trading professionals in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
