Overview
Kinisla is seeking a dedicated Quality Officer to join its Listowel, County Kerry facility. This role involves leading a Compliance Audit team, promoting a culture of collaboration, problem-solving, and open communication. The successful candidate will oversee adherence to quality standards, ensure GMP compliance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives through leadership and training.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and engage the Compliance Audit team to maintain high performance, focusing on teamwork and problem resolution.
- Build trust and motivate the team through effective leadership, open two-way communication, and people management.
- Measure and ensure compliance with established quality standards.
- Facilitate and actively participate in continuous improvement programs to enhance quality standards.
- Manage the Quality Compliance Auditing processes to meet product specifications and GMP requirements.
- Support implementation of Quality Standards by coordinating training and assistance to value streams and other departments.
- Provide technical training to empower value stream training personnel to conduct quality training activities.
- Oversee Factory Audits, including those conducted by customers and third parties.
- Ensure internal quality audits are performed to verify compliance with required standards and practices.
- Manage resolution and closure of audit-identified issues and incidents effectively.
Qualifications and Skills
- A third-level qualification in Science, Food Science, Biochemistry, or an equivalent discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong written, numerical, and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and record key process data accurately.
- Experience leading continuous improvement and managing change initiatives.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including coaching, conflict management, and team leadership.
- Strong focus on achieving set objectives and targets.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Highly organized with effective planning skills.
