Job description
Overview
We are seeking qualified engineers for the role of Quality Engineer specializing in Civil and Electrical disciplines to join our team working on high voltage power transmission line projects. The scope includes overhead line (OHL) and underground line (UG) networks, along with substation construction projects across various locations in Saudi Arabia.
Key Role Focus
Your primary responsibility will involve managing and monitoring the quality of all engineering activities related to your discipline. This includes inspection and approval of materials, continuous quality evaluation of onsite execution, and ensuring all works comply with the highest project standards and technical specifications.
Essential Qualifications
- Mandatory prior approval as a Quality Engineer from the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC).
Responsibilities
- Supervise and control the quality of civil or electrical works related to overhead and underground transmission line projects.
- Conduct field inspections and precise technical assessments of components for substation construction.
- Verify that all supplied materials and site execution methods comply with project standards and relevant codes.
- Collaborate closely with project teams to identify and resolve quality-related issues effectively and promptly.
- Prepare and maintain professional quality documentation and reports regularly to ensure accurate record keeping.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum five years of experience in quality control and assurance for transmission line and substation projects.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Saudi Electricity Company's (SEC) engineering standards and strong understanding of quality management principles and industry best practices.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Additional Requirements
- Valid Saudi driving license.
- Active membership and accreditation from the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
- Pre-approved SEC Quality Engineer certification must be attached with the resume.
