Job description
Role and Responsibilities
The Quality Engineer will oversee quality control procedures, including incoming, in-process, and final inspections for wire rings and related components. They will ensure compliance with ISO 9001 quality management systems by maintaining documentation and standard operating procedures. The role requires operating precision measurement tools and confirming equipment calibration. Additionally, the engineer will investigate defects using root cause analysis with the seven quality control tools to minimize scrap and rework. They will participate in continuous improvement activities by supporting plant audits, maintaining 5S standards, and driving quality upgrades.
Candidate Profile
Candidates should possess a B.E. or Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Metallurgy Engineering. The role requires 1 to 5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, ideally within wire forming, springs, or precision manufacturing environments. A solid grasp of geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), engineering drawing interpretation, and quality methodologies such as ISO 9001 and Statistical Process Control (SPC) is essential.
