Quality Coordinator

Overview

The Quality Coordinator plays a vital role within Suitsupply's quality department, ensuring smooth operation of daily quality processes across a network of factories and inspectors. Reporting to the Senior QC Manager and collaborating with the Buying team, the role revolves around scheduling inspections, managing store feedback, and maintaining timely order fulfillment while upholding quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and manage all AQL inspections at assigned factories according to production schedules.
• Maintain a live calendar for inspections, proactively identifying and resolving any scheduling conflicts or missed inspections.
• Collaborate closely with the Buying department to align inspection timelines with order schedules, avoiding delays in production or delivery.
• Prepare detailed inspection briefs for factory inspectors including technical documentation, AQL standards, and workmanship criteria.
• Serve as primary administrative and reporting contact for factory-embedded QC inspectors.
• Follow up diligently on outstanding final inspection reports and unresolved quality issues, maintaining accurate trackers and escalating as needed.
• Support office-based inspections of incoming bulk garments as an additional quality assurance measure.
• Lead in-office quality control fittings to benchmark consistency in fit, construction, and finish across factories.
• Compile performance data from inspections and quality issues, producing comprehensive supplier scorecards and reports.
• Maintain ongoing communication with Suitsupply stores to collect quality feedback and translate it into corrective measures with factories.
• Assist the Senior QC Manager in preparing quality review meetings for suppliers.
• Conduct regular factory visits to verify adherence to AQL standards and update Corrective Action Plans (CAPs).
• Document findings from factory visits and ensure timely resolution of previously identified concerns.
• Support onboarding of new factories through establishing inspection frameworks, contacts, and reporting formats.
• Ensure all quality activities comply with Suitsupply's sustainability and compliance policies.

Candidate Profile

• 1 to 3 years’ experience in coordination or quality assurance roles, preferably within fashion, garment manufacturing, or supply chain environments.
• Excellent organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities and follow-ups simultaneously.
• Proficient with Excel and data management; familiarity with PLM software is advantageous.
• Keen eye for process automation opportunities to improve repetitive tasks via templates and tools.
• Strong communication skills in English and the local language.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about garment quality and manufacturing processes.
• Reliable and disciplined, with the aptitude to oversee multiple projects without losing critical details.
• Data-driven, with an aptitude for identifying gaps and inconsistencies to maintain accurate records.
• Team player capable of managing relationships between Quality, Buying, stores, and factory inspectors.
• Proactive in identifying issues early and ensuring follow-through on resolutions.
• Flexibility and willingness to relocate to be near local factory operations.
