Job description
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive After Sales / Quality Control Technician to join a prominent automotive company in Saudi Arabia. This position is open exclusively for Indian nationals currently working and residing in Saudi Arabia, possessing a relevant technical qualification in the automotive field.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out both static and dynamic quality inspections for vehicle repairs to ensure standards are met.
- Perform test drives and drivability evaluations as well as re-visit assessments to identify recurring issues.
- Monitor the Fixed Right First Time (FRFT) metric and implement measures to minimize repeat repair work.
- Examine Repair Orders thoroughly for correct diagnosis, precise job descriptions, and proper documentation.
- Detect incomplete or faulty repairs and deliver technical feedback to the respective technicians.
- Maintain Quality Control records and generate reports analyzing non-FRFT cases.
- Provide diagnostic and technical assistance to workshop technicians as needed.
- Assist in job distribution based on technician skill sets and current workload.
- Supervise the completion of service campaigns and ensure warranty compliances are fulfilled.
- Guarantee adherence to automotive after-sales service and workshop quality procedures.
- Report unresolved technical problems and workshop issues promptly to management.
Candidate Qualifications
- Must hold a Technical Diploma in Automotive Service Technology, Automotive Technology, Auto Electrical Technology, or an equivalent automotive technical qualification from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of six years practical experience in automotive maintenance, diagnostics, and repair.
- Experience working within dealerships, workshops, or after-sales automotive operations is strongly preferred.
- Exposure to quality control processes, vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repair validations will be advantageous.
