Job Overview
The Quality Control Inspector Level 1 is responsible for inspecting finished products from production, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards. This role involves detailed examination of product dimensions and craftsmanship, identifying any defects, and maintaining accurate records of inspections.
Key Duties
- Inspect goods post-production for compliance with quality standards.
- Measure product dimensions and evaluate workmanship when applicable.
- Identify, document, and communicate any non-conforming products found during audits, inspections, or spot checks based on established criteria.
- Maintain detailed records regarding the status and disposition of inspected products.
- Consistently uphold attention to detail and pursue high-quality outcomes in all tasks.
- Adhere to company safety and quality protocols throughout work activities.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
- Conduct inspections in at least one area where documented training has been completed.
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
- Basic understanding of English for following work instructions and safety guidelines.
- Consistent and reliable attendance is critical for fulfilling job responsibilities.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, count accurately, and conduct inspections thoroughly.
- Legal authorization to work within the United States is mandatory.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
- Capability to stand for extended periods and navigate narrow passageways with potential obstacles.
- Frequent reaching, bending, and lifting up to 10 pounds.
- Requires repetitive hand and arm movements.
- Good vision along with hand and finger dexterity is necessary for effective inspection.
