Job Overview
The Marker Maker position involves reviewing and verifying markers to ensure they align precisely with customer orders. This role demands accuracy and adherence to production schedules for both commercial and military orders.
Responsibilities
- Examine and validate markers to confirm their accuracy against customer requirements.
- Ensure timely completion of markers according to the production timeline for commercial and military orders.
- Verify markers correspond correctly to model specifications, including dimensions, quantity, color, fabric width, and working samples.
- Utilize the Accumark system to arrange pieces for optimal marker efficiency.
- Create detailed mini markers (maps) to assist the cutting room in executing work orders accurately.
- Send finalized markers to plotter devices for printing.
- Export cutting file data to the production Cutting Room.
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail and uphold high-quality standards.
- Comply with company safety policies and quality guidelines at all times.
- Keep the work environment organized, clean, and safe.
- Perform other assigned tasks as needed.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent mandatory.
- Basic English comprehension for work and safety instructions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Accumark software required.
- Dependable and consistent attendance essential.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States is a must.
Required Qualifications
- Applicant must be a U.S. person, such as a citizen or lawful permanent resident, to satisfy federal contracting regulations and ITAR requirements.
- Fluency in English, with professional-level speaking, reading, and writing skills is required.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions
- Extended periods of sitting during work.
- Manual dexterity to handle documents and paper components.
- Occasional lifting of materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Limited reaching above and below desk level may be necessary.
- Ability to operate keyboard and monitor with sufficient strength and visual acuity for prolonged durations.
