  • Identify and report any damages, shortages, or discrepancies on arrival and before dispatch.
  • Verify customer-specific labeling requirements and packaging before goods are loaded and dispatched.
  • Enforce quality standards by halting any dispatches not meeting required specifications.
  • Monitor inventory aging across warehouses and implement First In, First Out (FIFO) inventory practices.
  • Investigate and resolve issues related to non-moving or aging stock by identifying causes and proposing corrective measures.
  • Record all irregularities such as damage or labeling errors immediately with system documentation, including photographic evidence where necessary.
  • Track non-conformance issues through to resolution and closure, collaborating with relevant teams.

Additional Role Authority

  • Work closely with departments including Warehouse, Logistics, Sales, Procurement, and Management for continuous improvement.

Candidate Profile

  • Ideal for early-career professionals; previous experience is beneficial but not essential as comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organized, and disciplined approach.
  • Strong communication skills with a team-oriented mindset.
  • Energetic, proactive, and comfortable performing physical tasks on the warehouse floor.
  • Problem-solving capabilities coupled with rigorous documentation habits.
  • Proficient spoken and written English.
  • Experience with warehouse operations, inventory or ERP systems, chemical packaging formats (drums, IBCs, pails, bags), or loading processes is advantageous.

Success Metrics

  • Completion of inspection for every inbound consignment.
  • No incorrectly labeled products entering storage.
  • Verification of customer-specific labels before outbound shipment.
  • Immediate recording of discrepancies on the same day they are identified.
  • Resolution of FIFO deviations or stale stock within 48 hours.
