Job description
Job Overview
We are looking for a Quality Control Engineer to oversee and ensure the precision of machining and fabrication activities according to engineering specifications. The role involves operating various machine tools and coordinating workshop operations while upholding safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise machining and fabrication activities aligned with engineering drawings.
- Operate machinery including Lathe, Drilling, Milling, CNC Turning, and Boring machines.
- Interpret and analyze engineering drawings effectively.
- Manage both internal workshop tasks and outsourced vendor operations.
- Perform dimensional and quality inspections utilizing Vernier calipers, Micrometers, Bore Gauges, and Dial Gauges.
- Ensure machining processes meet specified tolerances and deadlines.
- Keep accurate production documentation and adhere to workshop safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the Workshop In-charge to enhance workflow efficiency.
Qualifications and Requirements
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with machining equipment and thorough knowledge of engineering drawings and measurement tools. They must be capable of ensuring high-quality outputs through diligent supervision and quality checks.
Additional Information
This role requires onsite presence in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, with a monthly fixed salary range of 30,000 to 50,000 INR.
