About the Role
Artisans is seeking a meticulous and inquisitive QA Tester to enhance the quality of our digital products. We value testers who identify hidden issues beyond superficial checks, examining how products behave with unusual inputs, across devices, and under unexpected conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct testing on websites, web applications, dashboards, mobile apps, APIs, and other digital platforms.
- Translate requirements into effective test scenarios.
- Perform multiple testing methods including functional, regression, exploratory, usability, and end-to-end evaluations.
- Detect bugs, inconsistencies, edge cases, missing validation, and user experience problems.
- Produce detailed and reproducible bug reports supported by evidence.
- Verify bug fixes to ensure they do not negatively impact existing features.
- Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and other project members.
- Contribute to refining test cases, QA documentation, release routines, and product quality standards.
- Execute fast yet thorough testing when required.
Candidate Profile
- Keen eye for detail and ability to spot inconsistencies others overlook.
- Analytical thinking that goes beyond straightforward scenarios.
- Ability to handle fast-paced work while maintaining systematic processes.
- Clear communication of detected issues.
- Understanding of workflows and business needs.
- Curiosity about product functionality.
- Confidence to question readiness and take ownership of quality beyond checklist compliance.
Professional QA experience is beneficial but not obligatory. Enthusiasm for finding product weaknesses and strong analytical skills are critical.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Postman, API testing tools, and browser developer tools.
- Knowledge of SQL, Jira, ClickUp, Swagger/OpenAPI.
- Understanding of regression and mobile testing techniques.
- Familiarity with test case creation, Git/GitHub, and automated testing frameworks.
Location and Hiring Process
Benghazi candidates are preferred, although applicants from Tripoli and other regions will be considered. Remote work options may be available for qualified individuals.
Selection involves an application review, a practical QA challenge, and an interview, focusing on actual testing skills over résumé credentials.
