Role Overview
As a QA Engineer, you will contribute to enhancing QA efforts for our mobile live games. Collaborating closely with the QA Lead and developers, you will ensure that game builds are stable, compliant, and prepared for release. Experience with release management, understanding full-stack development, and familiarity with live operations are crucial for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform testing of mobile builds on actual devices, assessing functionality, performance, and stability
- Develop, execute, and update comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Detect, document, and track bugs through to their resolution
- Verify bug fixes and determine readiness of builds for release
- Assist in release processes including creation of builds, merging pull requests, and managing app store submissions
- Support live operations by validating updates, hotfixes, and in-game events
- Work collaboratively with developers, production teams, and the QA Lead to enhance quality and streamline workflows
Essential Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in game quality assurance, with a strong focus on mobile testing
- Experience working with live mobile games and managing live operations
- Background in testing mid-core mobile game titles; prior experience with strategy games is advantageous
- Demonstrated expertise in release management procedures
- Familiarity with full-stack development processes
- Ability to operate effectively in an agile team environment under the guidance of a QA Lead
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail
- Effective written communication skills and ability to produce well-structured bug reports
- Practical experience using tools such as Xcode, Android Studio, ADB, Apptim, and GameBench
- Beneficial but not mandatory: knowledge of SQL and experience with automated testing frameworks

This is a fully remote position, preferably suited for candidates located within or close to the Central European Time (CET) zone to ensure effective teamwork.
