QC Mechanical Inspector

Job Overview

Zaramiz Company Limited is looking for a skilled QC Mechanical Inspector to manage and verify mechanical inspection and quality assurance tasks on project sites located in Saudi Arabia. This position demands comprehensive knowledge of mechanical inspection protocols, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), QA/QC documentation, relevant codes and standards, along with specific Saudi Aramco project requirements.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Execute inspections on mechanical equipment, installation processes, fabrication, and construction activities aligning with approved drawings, specifications, ITPs, and project standards.
• Conduct inspections at multiple stages including material receipt, fit-up, fabrication, installation, dimensional checks, and final reviews.
• Assess and validate Material Test Certificates (MTCs), inspection reports, test documentation, and other QA/QC records.
• Ensure strict compliance with approved ITPs, method statements, specifications, and Saudi Aramco standards.
• Collaborate effectively with construction teams, subcontractors, and client or third-party inspectors to facilitate inspection operations.
• Identify and report non-conformance reports (NCRs), observations, and corrective measures, ensuring prompt resolution.
• Maintain thorough records including inspection documents, checklists, and quality reports.
• Participate as needed in testing, pre-commissioning, and final inspection activities.
• Oversee site activities to guarantee adherence to established quality and safety guidelines.
• Assist in compiling Turnover and Mechanical Completion dossiers and other project quality documentation.

Mandatory Qualifications and Experience

• Hold a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a corresponding technical qualification.
• A minimum of six years’ experience serving as a QC Mechanical Inspector.
• Preferably have at least six years of relevant experience within the Gulf region.
• Possess valid Saudi Aramco approval or demonstrated experience on Saudi Aramco projects.
• CBT certification valid where applicable.
• In-depth understanding of mechanical inspection procedures, QA/QC documentation, ITP, and project specifications.
• Strong familiarity with international mechanical codes, standards, and Saudi Aramco stipulations.

• Preference will be given to candidates already residing in Saudi Arabia.
