QA/QC Engineer

Overview

This position focuses on supporting the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of the Integrated Management System (IMS) compliant with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 29001 standards. The role ensures quality assurance and quality control adherence across workshop and field services and supports the QHSE Manager in various quality management activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain procedures, KPIs, and performance data analysis.
• Conduct internal audits and support audit readiness and closure of findings.
• Develop Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), manage customer complaints and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including dossiers and reports.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization in line with IMS and industry standards.
• Coordinate NCR meetings and ensure timely follow-ups and closures.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Management in vendor evaluation and development concerning NCRs.
• Guide departments in implementing process, documentation, and control changes.
• Provide expert advice on IMS topics to departments, process owners, and management.
• Ensure all system changes are documented, approved, and communicated effectively.
• Support the definition of requirements for IT solutions aiding process support.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 5 to 7 years of experience in IMS or QA/QC roles primarily within rotating equipment, oil & gas, or turbomachinery sectors.
• Hands-on expertise in inspection, repair, and overhaul of rotating and turbo machinery.
• At least 3 years’ experience with management systems or auditing activities.
• Strong knowledge of API and other related standards applicable to rotating equipment.
• Proficient in preparing ITPs, Quality Control Plans (QCPs), and QA/QC dossiers.
• Good computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint; experience with Power BI is a plus.
• Experience conducting internal and certification audits.
