Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Python Web Scraping Developer based in Mumbai (Airoli), Pune (Hinjewadi), or Bangalore to join our team on a full-time basis. This role demands a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and offers a hybrid work model with 3-4 days onsite weekly and no long-term commitment. The position operates on a daytime shift from 10 am to 7 pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain Python scripts for extracting data from multiple websites.
- Ensure high data accuracy and integrity through rigorous validation and cleansing processes.
- Work closely with diverse teams to gather data needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Improve and optimize scraping tools for better efficiency and scale.
- Use SQL for querying, manipulating, and reporting on data efficiently.
- Integrate Python scraping tools with .NET framework applications as required.
- Lead and mentor junior developers to meet project goals successfully.
- Keep pace with advancements in web scraping, data extraction, and related areas.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Graduate degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of practical experience in Python-based web scraping and data extraction.
- Proficient in SQL for data operations.
- Experienced with .NET framework and combining it with Python tools.
- Demonstrated leadership skills managing developer teams.
- Strong analytical ability and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
- Mandatory expertise with Selenium for automation.
Preferred Capabilities
- Familiarity with other programming languages and development frameworks.
- Knowledge of data visualization approaches and tools.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms and services.
