Python Game Developer

Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Python Game Developer to create engaging games, simulations, and game tools using Python. This position requires the delivery of clean, maintainable code embraced by both designers and fellow engineers.

Key Duties

• Design and maintain game features, backend systems, and development tools using Python.
• Develop game mechanics, simulation models, and AI behaviors.
• Create tools and pipelines to support designers and content creators.
• Integrate Python-based components with game engines, servers, or web technologies.
• Identify and fix bugs across the entire game stack.
• Perform code reviews and enhance engineering processes.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 3 years experience developing production-level Python applications, preferably within gaming or simulation domains.
• Proficiency in advanced Python concepts including asynchronous programming, performance tuning, and packaging.
• Hands-on experience with game development frameworks such as Pygame, Panda3D, Ren'Py, or integration of Python in larger engines like Maya, Blender, or Unreal.
• Understanding of multiplayer game backend systems or simulation engines is advantageous.
• Well-versed with version control systems, automated testing, and continuous integration workflows.
• Strong foundation in software engineering principles.
