Python Django Developer

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Python Django Developer to join our team in Nagpur, Maharashtra. The role focuses on building and maintaining robust web applications, developing RESTful APIs, and optimizing backend databases. As part of the role, you will partner with frontend developers and business stakeholders to create scalable solutions, while also supporting visualization and reporting efforts using Power BI.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, enhance, and maintain web applications leveraging Python and Django frameworks.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs for various application modules.
• Design and improve SQL database schemas and backend services to ensure efficient data handling.
• Work collaboratively with frontend developers and business teams to deliver responsive and scalable solutions.
• Assist in building reports and dashboards through Power BI tools.
• Engage in code reviews, perform software testing, and aid deployment processes.

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python programming and Django framework including Django REST Framework.
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Git version control system.
• Basic front-end skills: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Fundamental understanding of Power BI components including Reports, Dashboards, DAX expressions, and Power Query.
• Experience with Docker is a plus.

Desired Additional Skills

• Experience with FastAPI framework.
• Exposure to cloud services like Microsoft Azure or Amazon AWS.
