Role Overview

This position focuses on designing, deploying, and maintaining continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines for seamless application deployment. You will manage container orchestration using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and handle containerized applications effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and uphold CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth delivery of applications.
• Administer Google Kubernetes Engine clusters and manage container workloads.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code principles via Terraform to automate environment setup.
• Automate the provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes of infrastructure.
• Leverage tools like Cloud Build, Cloud Deploy, Artifact Registry along with Git workflows to streamline development cycles.
• Establish and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting mechanisms, and ensure cloud system observability.
• Oversee Identity and Access Management (IAM), service accounts, network settings, and security protocols.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to applications, infrastructure, deployment processes, and performance bottlenecks.
• Design and implement solutions promoting high availability, scalability, data backup, and disaster recovery.
